BIODATA

My name is Carla Díaz Durán. I hold a Bachellors of Arts in Primary Education by the University of Cantabria. Currently, I am doing the Adaptation Course to get a Degree in Primary Education at the same university.

I am also studying English at the Official School of Languages and I go to a language school in order to improve my English and be able to communicate with other people who don´t speak my own language.

I am in the 5^th level of EOI, and I hope to get the B2 certificate in English next year, which is my aim.

Since October, I have been teaching children with learning difficulties at a state school in the afternoon and I shall continue until June.

In the past, I was a student at Miguel Herrero Pereda High School in Torrelavega between 2007-2009. When I finished my studies at High School, I started my degree while I was studying to be a free time instructor at Paradiso School of Hinojedo.

When I became an instructor, I worked there for two years.

From 2009 to 2012, I took part in different courses. All of them related to my degree:

·         Language problems and their treatment in Torrelavega in 2009.

·         Basic communication in Spanish through sign language in Laredo in 2010.

·         The teaching-learning process and new technologies in Laredo in 2010.

·         Finding creativity in inside us in Santander in 2011.

·         Reading and writing learning and its difficulties in Barreda in 2011.

·         Cooperative work in Barreda in 2012.

·         V World Congress of ways of learning in Santander in 2012
