Task 1: Who I am?

Who am i from CarlaDiazDuran

Hi! I am going to talk about the next topic: Who am I? Since I think that it is a topic which let us meet us a little more.

Well, first of all, my name is Carla and my surnames are Díaz Durán.

The place where I live

With regard to the place where I live, I live in Hinojedo. Hinojedo is a little village near Suances. I have been living in this place since I was a teenager, but originally I am from Torrelavega. In fact, when I am not sleeping or eating, I spend my time in Torrelavega as it has more facilities than Hinojedo. However, I think that Hinojedo is a comfortable place where live because it is really peaceful, nice and even enchanting.

People who I live with: My family

In this place, I live with my family: My parents and my older brother. Perhaps, my brother is the main reason we moved as he needed a bigger house and about all he needed a little garden where he could play and move himself.

I love my family, it´s obvious. Most of people likes his family and in mi case I wouldn´t change it.

Well, we also have a pet, it´s a dog, a poodle, and its name is Leyker.

My best friends

In relation to my best friends, at least, I can say that at least I know them since I was a child so I can know what they are thinking about in any situation. They are Ana and Rubén. They are completely different: Ana is a sensitive, sensible and quite person, while Ruben is a crazy, talkative and self-confident man.

I keep in touch with Rubén because he is studying in Cantabria. However, Ana is studying in Oviedo and we only can see us when she comes Torrelavega or if I go to Asturias. In spite of this, we spend hours talking by phone.

School which I went

I was in different schools with my best friend, until we chose different degrees. We studied Nursery and Primary education in Mayer School from I was three years old to twelve years old.

We had to change the school because Mayer School didn´t have Secondary education, so we started Secondary education in El Salvador School.

Finally, when we finished it, we started the High School in Miguel Herrero in Torres.

Why I did a Degree in Education

In 2009, I started my Degree in Education because it was the degree which allowed me to dedicate the rest of my life to do something that I really like. However, I notice that I have to study more if I want to be a good teacher.

Nowadays, finding a job is a hard task and for this reason we need to continue studying.

I would like to learn…

In fact, I believe that we need to improve our English because most of schools are becoming bilingual, so bilingual teachers will be demanded in the future, and perhaps, nowadays too.

I would also like to learn what the best method is so that children learn English.

My dreams for the future…

Generally speaking, everybody wants to find a job and be able to pay his mortgage. As far as my dreams are concerned, I would like to be a teacher, have health, and be surrounded by people who I love: my family, my friends… and of course, to be able to pay my mortgage too!
